What Clients Say

My body felt different from the very first class — despite regularly attending other teachers. I can feel what you’re describing and it’s increasing my awareness and access to my body. My appetite has reduced, which I’m thrilled about, and I’ve already noticed significant changes in just four classes.

Beate

Vivienne is one of the most dedicated and passionate teachers I have met. Her profound knowledge of anatomy and ability to instruct with precision make her teaching unique and deeply beneficial. She is generous, disciplined, and highly intuitive in her diagnostic ability. Highly recommended.

Cecile

It was only when I started taking Viv’s classes that I truly became serious about yoga. The thought behind her sequencing is extraordinary, but it’s only when you listen to her pinpoint cuing and her uncanny ability to make a group class feel like a tailored one-on-one session, that you really start to appreciate that she is truly in a class of her own. I feel very fortunate to be your student and learn from you.

Grace

The experience and dedication Viv brings to her teaching is invaluable. Her understanding of anatomy and skillful adjustments are among the best I’ve encountered in more than a decade of practice. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking a deeper understanding of yoga.

Cynthia

Part-way into the Zoom sequence I dropped into a completely different state — calm, centered, and deeply grounded. It was truly the highlight of my week.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s)

Yes it is. This class will be suitable for beginners and more experienced students alike. Foundational cues are given alongside instructions for optionally deepening the pose.

Yes you can. I’d strongly suggest having a mat because of the grip and padding. However you can substitute the following instead of the other yoga props:

Yoga blanket – just use a regular blanket or towel nearly folded
Yoga belt – just use any belt or strap that you have
Yoga Blocks – some postures can be done with a stack of books or even a water bottle instead.

That’s no problem. Students regularly register for the class in order to receive the 7-day recording and then replay the class as often as you like at your most suitable time. If you like, you can practice the sequence every day for a week! This is a wonderful way to help the body transform.

It is provided you let me know what you’re dealing with and then I guide you in how to practice. If you’re attending in-person please inform me before the class starts. If you’re attending via zoom, email or text me your issue by latest the day before and I’ll give you personal guidance. Many students find that appropriate, guided practice significantly reduces or resolves discomfort over time.

Absolutely it is! You will receive the benefits of the scalar field – even those zooming in – which is unique to Scalar Yoga. And hopefully, through the way I teach, you’ll experience a new way of seeing the poses, your body and the practice as a whole, that takes you deep into the transformative potential of yoga. The more practice you have done, the quicker you will access this other level.
